Chili
Supper raises funds for Homeless Ministry
St. Anne's sponsored a Chili Supper,
Bake Sale and Silent Auction on Friday, November 3, 2006 at the
Neveln Center.
This is the key fundraiser that supports 225-meals a
month outreach. 2006 marked the third year for the
Chili Supper and four year of serving the Homeless Meals.

The Chili
Supper involved dozens of the St. Anne's community in
preparing, serving and cleaning up for this important
fundraiser. Excellent Chili and Vegetable soup, plus all
the fixings were served up for all the attendees.
A Silent
Auction and Bake Sale also shared the space at the Neveln
Center. Dozens of various desserts, breads and
confections were donated. Several young people even
created a dessert cart with Bake Sale items and swooped done
on diners finishing their chili -
using a marvelous collections of items to tempt even the
strongest wills.
Other
Homeless Ministry Needs-
Mary Oliver
(964.1227) is asking for donations of tents for
homeless community members as the weather turns
colder.
