Power of Prayer
St. Anne’s believes in the power of God through
Christ, to answer our individual prayers and also those
prayers we offer for others. In response to this belief, St.
Anne’s maintains a prayer circle consisting of a small group
of prayer warriors. These prayer warriors pray daily for those
persons for whom prayer has been requested.
Prayers can be for healing, for the repose of the soul of
those who have died recently, for those who have lost a loved
one, for peace and strength, for those serving in the armed
forces of our country, for knowledge of God in one’s life or
for other special needs. In other words we will pray for
anyone or anything that is requested.
Confidentiality is always maintained and specific details are
not necessary. Please use only first names. Some have asked
how long a prayer remains on the list. Prayers can remain as
long as requested, although occasional updates are requested
if prayers are to be listed for a number of months.
Our prayer ministry reaches out to people in Ankeny, other
states, the United States and throughout the whole world. You
can make your request for prayer by sending an e-mail to

Your prayer will be added to our
