Throughout the history of St. Anne’s special events and ministries have been put together in response to the needs of our community, our state and the world. Sometimes these events become full-fledged ministries while other events are held as needs arise.
All participants at St. Anne’s are able to work with church staff and Vestry to coordinate a special event or ministry. Having this open opportunity at St. Anne’s we are able to provide support and guidance to anyone who wishes to reach out beyond our front doors. We also support ideas just for our community as well.
Some of our past efforts have included:
- Community picnics
- Medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic (support was raised through a large community dinner and auction)
- Agape dinner at St. Anne’s held Easter week
- Live nativity (annual)
- Themed fellowship events
- Summer grill outs
- pancake breakfasts
- Garage sales to raise money for various community and international needs
- Educational and spiritual growth workshops
If you know of someone in need or want a place to explore your gifts no matter what your experience, please contact St. Anne’s office to learn more.
